Rajeev JayadevaAssistant Vice President, Registrar
Rajeev Jayadeva is an experienced higher education administrator and educator with more than 15 years of experience. Awardee of the 2018 American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) Emerging Leader Award, Jayadeva served as the president of the New Jersey – New York Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. He also served as the vice president for information technology at the Middle States Association of Collegiate Registrars and Officers of Admission.
An accomplished writer, speaker, and technologist, Jayadeva began his career as a faculty member for the City University of New York and moved up to leadership positions at Pratt Institute and Nassau Community College. He has conducted lectures and high-level presentations at the national level including talks such as “Higher Education Trials & Tribulations, Leadership Perspectives, FERPA Case Studies, and Mentoring.”
Jayadeva holds a master of library and information science degree from Queens College, City University of New York and is a candidate for a doctorate in education with a concentration in instructional design and technology at Liberty University. His interests include aviation, academic technologies, student services, information systems, curricula, enrollment management and leadership. Some of his most recent publications include: “Grade Changes for Graduating Students in AACRAO’s Guide to Graduation Ceremonies,” 2017; “Mentoring Millennials: Perceptions and Analysis in AACRAO’s Mentorship in Higher Education,” 2018; “Mentoring Millennials: Perceptions and Analysis in AACRAO’s College and University,” 2018.
