About

Cherrie Illidge is the assistant director of the College’s Science and Technology Entry Program and an adjunct professor for the First Year Initiative. Prior to joining Vaughn College,  she held several vice president roles at JP Morgan and HSBC Bank USA where she served as the head of diversity and inclusion and the head of commercial eBusiness.  Most of her career was spent at American Express where she functioned as the chief of staff for the Global Corporate Technologies after joining the firm as a senior engineer.

Cherrie serves on the executive committees for Jack and Jill of America Queens Chapter and Boys Scouts of America Pack/Troop 263.  Previously she served as board chair and president of two New York City cultural institutions, Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning and the Jamaica Performing Arts Center.
