WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
This free (room and board available free of charge), in-person, four-week program from July 8 to August 2 is open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors and college students who have an interest in computer engineering, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Through theory and hands-on practice, students will learn about the most influential topics in the industry and achieve a top-down 360° understanding. Topics will include:
- Basics of Blockchain
- Basics of Artificial Intelligence
- Basics of Cybersecurity
- Intermediate Blockchain
- Intermediate Artificial Intelligence
- Intermediate Cybersecurity
PROGRAM DETAILS
The 2024 summer academy will be run Monday – Friday, July 8, 2024, to August 2, 2024, from 10 am – 4 pm, with a break for lunch from 12 pm – 1 pm. Week 4, the last week, students will be encouraged to take a research topic on any of the three modules; they will be guided through the research process and create postal presentations. The student will leverage the proposed Center for Information Security and Intelligence (CISI) to carry out their research.
