Vaughn College offers the following continuing education courses for continued professional development. Many of these courses may count towards a Vaughn academic degree.
The airline management certificate will introduce the student to business and management concepts related to the airline industry both nationally and internationally.
The airport management certificate will introduce the student to business and management concepts related to managing small to large airports.
Safety management systems (SMS) is a top down and bottom up business approach to managing safety risk.
This 12-credit program can be completed in a semester of full-time study or on a part-time basis.
Vaughn College offers a program that enables students to sit for the exam for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) aircraft dispatch certificate.
This 12-credit program prepares individuals to fill these important positions and also can be applied toward a bachelor degree in aircraft operations, airport management and general management at Vaughn.
Students will gain hands-on experience developing computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programs for Haas computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
This eight-credit certificate program covers manufacturing systems utilized in the additive and subtractive manufacturing fields.
Students will be introduced to the analysis of composite materials along with hands-on experience in composite manufacturing.
This 12-credit certificate program provides a well-rounded education to prospective engineers and technicians who are interested in composite materials, their manufacturing process and application.

Vaughn College in conjunction with the Unmanned Safety Institute is offering the following courses:
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 Prep Course addresses all pertinent aeronautical knowledge factors outlined by the FAA for the Unmanned Aircraft General (UAG) examination and augments those with safety concepts and practices to develop well-informed and responsible remote pilots. Students who successfully complete the course receive a certificate of completion from the Unmanned Safety Institute and are well prepared to pass the UAG Exam. The small UAS safety certificate is designed to set a safety inspired foundation for any UAS operation. The Unmanned Safety Institute’s small UAS safety certificate covers all pertinent aeronautical knowledge as outlined by the FAA and augments this knowledge with safety practices that will ensure all participants are responsible remote pilots ready to lead in the UAS industry. The small UAS safety certificate meets both the safety-training requirement for USI PROTM ratings and the FAA knowledge area required for the remote pilot airman certificate.
The Small UAS Safety certificate also gives remote pilots a sound foundation in the theoretical, covering a wide survey of UAS Technologies and concepts. In order to qualify for the certificate, applicants must complete an approve course of study covering the course themes and to pass a proctored exam. This curriculum will require learners to dedicate considerable time and independent study. The total time required is estimated at 155 hours, with each of the four courses requiring approximately 39 hours of work. Click here for more info and to register.
