"Vaughn College is located in the greatest city in the world!" Luiny Duran chose Vaughn College because of its outstanding reputation for aviation programs-and because it is "located in the greatest city in the world!" Since becoming a student here, the Queens resident has learned to value much more.
Now, Luiny recognizes Vaughn's solid immersion in the aviation industry: the college's investment in state-of-the-art flight simulators, and in recruiting professors who provide invaluable insight because they have worked-or are still working-in the aviation industry.
"Vaughn has such a hardworking faculty and staff," he says. "The campus is small and intimate. You get to know everyone. I love that Vaughn is diverse so I can interact with people from a variety of backgrounds."
He plans to be a pilot and "travel the world" (but is sure to return frequently to his New York roots).
