Warriors Fall to Rowan

Despite 22 points and five rebounds from Jihad Ceaser, the Vaughn College Warriors were unable to hold off a charge from host Rowan University, losing 74-58.
The Warriors fell to 5-10 this season, but remain 1-0 in the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference. Rowan, a New Jersey Athletic Conference school, improved to 8-7.
Rowan outscored Vaughn, 16-4, in the game's opening five minutes. But the Warriors battled back to within 20-17 before Rowan pulled away again.
Forward Brandon Reid scored 16 points for the Warriors. Guard Ryan Burchette chipped in with 10 and five steals. Forward Moises Chaucer scored eight points and added five rebounds.
