December 9, 2010

Done in by a series of turnovers, the Vaughn College Warriors fell to 5-5 this season, losing 92-41 to New Jersey City University on Wednesday night in Jersey City, N.J.

Vaughn trailed 50-14 at halftime, due in large part to 22 turnovers. The Warriors also shot a mere 26 percent in the first half.

Vaughn showed some fight after intermission but NJCU remained in control of the game. Vaughn was led by Al-Ameen Kabba, who had 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots. Joe Douglas added seven points, three rebounds and two steals.
