Vaughn Soccer Team Member Named Player of the Week

Amir Karim, a sophomore forward at Vaughn College, was named Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week for September 17 - 23. The honor follows Karim's two-goal performance in the Warrior's 3-2 victory over Webb on Saturday (Sep. 22).
Karim found the back of the net twice helping to lead Vaughn to a league victory over Webb and first win of the season. After scoring the first goal of the contest, which gave the Warriors a 1-0 halftime lead, the sophomore forward struck again midway through the second half for the game-winner.
Vaughn's next home game is on Sunday, September 30 at 12:00 p.m. vs. the Culinary Institute.
