Vaughn Soccer Player Named to All-Academic Team

Vaughn College soccer player Melvin Okumu has been named to the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference's Fall All-Academic team.
The All-Academic team recognizes student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom and on the field. To be eligible, student-athletes must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 and participate in either of the league's two fall sports, soccer or cross country.
Okumu, a junior, is studying mechanical engineering technology; his grade-point average is 3.7.
