Vaughn Professor to Serve as Engineering Conference Chair

Dr. Hossein Rahemi, chair of Vaughn College's engineering and technology department, will serve as a competition chair at the prestigious Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions (LACCEI) annual conference in July.
Dr. Rahemi will review student technical papers and projects and recommend the three best for award consideration. The ultimate first-place winner will receive a $500 prize and a medal of recognition.
The conference is one of the largest gatherings of engineering professionals in the Latin American world. It will be held this year in Panama City, Panama.
