Vaughn Men's Soccer Team Falls

September 19, 2011

Vaughn College's men's soccer team fell to 1-1 this season, losing, 10-1, to Albany College of Pharmacy on Saturday.

Albany, playing on its home field,  was led by Zach Hecox, who scored a school-record six goals. Albany led, 6-1, at halftime and cruised for the victory. The Warriors, who defeated Webb Institute, 8-2, in its season opener last week, got their lone goal from freshman Kibuki Mesquita, who now has five goals this season.

Vaughn plays at Berkeley College on Wednesday night and at the Culinary Institute of America on Saturday.
