Vaughn Basketball Star Receives All-League Honor

Vaughn College forward Jihad Ceaser was selected as the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference's Basketball Player of the Week for 
his performances in Vaughn's three games last week.
Ceaser, a junior from Hempstead, led the Warriors to two league victories, enabling Vaughn to move into a tie atop the conference standings. Ceaser had a pair of 20-plus point games, including a 20-point, 15-rebound effort in an overtime win over Albany Pharmacy on Sunday (Jan. 22).
This is Ceaser's first player of the week honor but he twice has been named to the league's honor roll this season. He also recently was named to the all-tournament team in the College of Staten Island's Tournament of Heroes.
