Queens Borough President Candidate Forum Coming to Vaughn

Vaughn College and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Queens have partnered to host the Queens Borough President Candidate Forum in the Hangar on Wednesday, May 22 at 7 p.m. Confirmed candidates include Leroy Comrie, Melinda Katz, Jose Peralta and Peter Vallone, Jr. 

All of the announced candidates for Queens Borough President will be in attendance to participate in an interactive discussion about critical issues facing Queens County, its neighborhoods and residents.   Critical topics to be discussed include jobs, economic development, Sandy recovery, education, environmental issues, hospital closures, illegal housing, development of public land and transportation.
