New Mechatronic Engineering Lab Opened in June

The Engineering and Technology Department has opened a new state-of-the-art mechatronics laboratory to supplement its engineering degree in mechatronics. The practice-oriented training devices, manufactured in Germany by Lucas-Nulle, feature instrumentation and automatic control technology. Mechatronics is a synergistic approach to engineering that draws upon mechanical, electrical and computer engineering. Faculty members attended training in Germany this past May in anticipation of the new equipment.
