New Graduate Reflects on Her Time at Vaughn

Jessenia Diaz graduated summa cum laude from Vaughn College on May 21 with degrees in general management and airport 
management. As profiled on Vaughn's website, she also completed the Flight Dispatch program and the Air Traffic-Collegiate Training Initiative program, a partnership between the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the College.
Winner of the Board of Trustees Award at the College's Honors Convocation Ceremony, Diaz was chosen to represent the graduating class of 2011 at commencement. Her moving speech chronicled her time at Vaughn and looked ahead to what she and her classmates can expect as newly minted alumni. Download a copy of her speech here.
