Vaughn College is continually adding to, and updating, our substantial collection of materials, which includes books, periodicals, computerized aircraft manuals, movies and software. These materials are accessible by faculty and students through the following manner:
- Regular circulation: These materials can be signed out only by Vaughn students, staff and faculty for a two-week period. If a book is still needed (and hasn't been requested by another) it can be renewed for an additional two weeks.
- Reference: These items–which include periodicals–do not circulate and must remain in the library. Vaughn has also added an online reference database, Credo, which is available through our password protected research databases.
- Reserve: Located in the staff work area, this collection is comprised of textbooks used for classes, additional class reading materials, and "overnight" books. The "overnight" books circulate for a two-day period and can be renewed.
We also offer faculty, staff and students online access to a wealth of research databases. In addition, there is a collection of DVDs. DVDs can only be signed out by faculty, students and staff. The collection consists of current movies as well as class information and documentaries.
