All students, staff, and faculty are welcome to use the library during our hours of operation.
The library houses collections of books, periodicals, videos, aircraft manuals, and software. Books are divided into three categories: regular circulation, reference, and reserve.
The regular collection can be signed out for a two-week period. If the book is still needed, and has not been requested by another patron, it can be renewed for an additional two weeks.
Reference books do not circulate and must remain in the library.
The reserve area is located in the staff work area. This collection is comprised of textbooks used for classes, additional class reading materials, and 'overnight' books. The 'overnight' books circulate for a two-day period and can be renewed.
Periodicals do not circulate and must remain in the reading area. Some of the periodicals are located in the reserve area. These must be signed out and returned to the front desk.
Our video collection contains class specific videos and general videos. Only faculty can sign out the videos that are used in class. Students cannot take these videos home. However, students are permitted to view these videos in the Academic Resource Center and then return them. The 'overnight' videos can be signed out by students, staff or faculty and circulate for a two day period. If these videos are signed out on Thursday or Friday, the due date is Monday.
Aircraft manuals do not circulate and can only be used in the library.
Due to copyright restrictions, students are not permitted to use the software collection. For the same reason, interlibrary loan requests for software are not honored.
