Eager to focus on mechatronics, Dr. Shouling He, a native of China, came to Vaughn from Pennsylvania State University in summer 2011.
"Mechatronics was exactly what I wanted to teach, and Vaughn needed someone that knew mechanical, electronic, and computer engineering." She described stepping into her role as a mechatronic engineering professor as "exciting".
Besides having a range of degrees in the engineering field, and over 10 years teaching experience, she also has over eight years of experience in the aerospace space industry as an engineer.
