Jo Ann Jayne directs the successful day-to-day operation of the library. Her responsibilities include: reference work, cataloging, collecting and collating library collections data, and helping students and faculty to successfully perform internet and research database searching. She also is responsible for book and video ordering, as well as new database purchases, working closely with the faculty to weed out and discard obsolete materials, and purchasing new databases, books, videos, and journals to keep library content on the leading edge. Jo Ann also participates in college organizations and serves on college committees. She joined Vaughn College as an assistant librarian in 1972 and was promoted to associate professor in 1979.
