Jessica Nicasio
Admissions Counselor
Admissions
Jessica Nicasio, an admissions counselor at Vaughn College since 2009, found her way to the higher education industry after realizing her past involvement in college activities had prepared her for a career in education. "While obtaining my bachelor's degree, I was involved in various organizations, open houses and was heavily involved with the student population," she explained. "So, I thought working in higher education may be a good career path for me."
Nicasio represents the College at on- and off-campus information fairs, counsels prospective applicants and their families on the admissions process and makes academic recommendations.
She is also a popular counselor for many Spanish speaking prospective and incoming students. Nicasio says: "I enjoy speaking to students about Vaughn College and what we have to offer. I really feel that I can make a difference in a student's life."
