The mechanical engineering technology BS degree with aeronautical option offers a solid foundation in all phases of aeronautical computer-aided design, 3-D graphics, animation and multimedia using a leading design program CATIA-Computer-Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application-and software such as MATLAB, Solid Edge and design analysis software Patran-Nastran. Electronic Engineering Technology - Avionics Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree
Developed to enable students to become proficient in the sophisticated aviation electronics systems found on board commercial, corporate and private aircraft, this four-year program stresses the fundamentals of engineering, science and technology as they apply to today's aircraft. Its curriculum, accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, provides in-depth application of theory and physical sciences to advanced avionics technology such as electrical circuits, digital electronics, aircraft communication/navigation systems together with avionics installation and maintenance, as well as integrated logistics support. To graduate, students also must pass a qualifying exam in courses AVT250 (license review courses) for the General Radio Telephone Operator License from the Federal Communications Commission. Vaughn College is a member of the Federal Aviation Administration's College Training Initiative, giving students and graduates an inside track on employment with the organization.
Electronic Engineering Technology - General Electronics Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree
