This degree program, accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org, provides graduates with the technical foundation they need to enter the field of electronic engineering technology or to pursue a bachelor degree. Focused on the in-demand field of aircraft electronics, the two-year program encompasses the study of electronic communication, navigation, surveillance and flight control systems and combines both basic engineering technology as well as practical avionics knowledge. To graduate, students also must pass a qualifying exam in courses AVT50 (license review courses) for the General Radio Telephone Operator License from the Federal Communications Commission. Vaughn College is a member of the Federal Aviation Administration's College Training Initiative, giving students and graduates an inside track on employment with the organization.

The AAS aeronautical engineering technology program, accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org, stresses the fundamentals of engineering, science and technology and is designed primarily as a transfer program, although graduates will have the skills to enter industry as engineering technologists. Courses in this two-year degree program prepare students to enter the College's Bachelor of Science degree program in mechanical engineering technology.
Animation and Digital Technologies Associate in Applied Science (AAS) DegreeBack to top
This two-year degree program is designed to build a student's proficiency in computer-aided design, graphic imaging and animation. In addition to basic college courses, you will learn how to develop 2-D and 3-D images, which can form animated sequences on videotape. Graduates are ready for a multitude of computer- and engineering-related fields, such as architecture, construction, graphic design and advertising.
