Non-Faculty Positions Controller Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology is an independent college offering graduate, bachelor and associate degrees in management, engineering, aviation and technology. The College, with an enrollment of over 1,000 students, seeks an energetic and capable individual as a Controller. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Business Services, the individual will be responsible for student accounting, general accounting and financial analysis, accounts payable, budget monitoring, financial projections, investment and grant accounting.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required, with a minimum of four years of financial and accounting experience, preferably within a small college or university. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communications skills needed, and ability to support Board committees and new institutional initiatives.

Part-Time Financial Aid Receptionist
Vaughn College is seeking a part-time financial aid receptions to perform the following duties:
- Possess multi-tasking abilities and customer service skills - Answer multiple line switchboard - Greet and screen students/parents at front desk prior to referring them to a counselor - Distribute, collect and record receipt of financial aid documents - Analyze tuition accounts to determine balances - Schedule student/parent appointments with Financial Aid Counselors - Act as a liaison between students, the Registrar and Student Accounts offices - Perform all other duties as assigned, including special projects
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college credits preferred.
Experience: At least two years' customer service and financial aid experience in a 2 or 4-year college environment required
Skills: Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, as well as experience with student information systems is required. Knowledge of ED Express, HESC and ELM; Sonis preferred.

Adjunct Faculty, Aviation Department The Aviation Department of Vaughn College is currently seeking to fill adjunct faculty positions. Flight Instructors are needed due to increasing student load. Duties include providing instruction in general and advanced aeronautics as well as instrument, commercial and multiengine operations. Involvement in related administrative and teaching functions is required.
Qualifications: Applicant must posses the following: Private, Instrument, Multiengine, Commercial and current Certified Flight Instructor-Airplane pilot certificates. Second Class Medical Certificate and Air Transport Pilot certificate a plus. Strong teaching ability required. Solid, work ethic is a must. A minimum of a Master’s degree is required.
