From registration to graduation, guidance and progress of each student is the responsibility of the office of academic affairs, office of student affairs, student advisement center and faculty advisors. Students should click here and read the Policies booklet to get the information they need.

APPLYING FOR GRADUATION

Distance learning students who have completed all degree requirements must:
1.Register for "GRADF" on their registration (151) form. There is a $60 graduation fee.
2.File a "Graduation Declaration" form with the registrar's office. All "Graduation Declaration" forms must be submitted to the registrar's office the semester prior to the last semester of study.
3.Distance learning students must make sure that they have submitted an official high school transcript or diploma AND a legible copy of their official Airframe and Powerplant license (front and back). They also must make sure that they have declared a major prior to filing for graduation.
4.Distance learning students must submit all of the required paperwork, as well as the "Graduation Declaration" form according to the following time table:

  • May graduation must file no later than October 1;
  • December graduation, no later than July 1; and
  • September graduation, no later than March 1.

**Candidates with more than six credits outstanding, or who have not filed by the deadline, will be postponed until the next commencement exercises.

The College allows potential graduate candidates to participate in commencement ceremonies. However, candidates who participate in the May commencement ceremonies do not imply conferral of a degree.
