WebCT stands for Web Course Tools. It is software used to create web-based "virtual classrooms" to supplement classroom instruction or to deliver fully online courses. The tool is well thought out and provides faculty and students all they need for effective online learning.

Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology has chosen WebCT because of its wide acceptance within the collegiate community. Although it is a powerful tool, the student will find it also easy to use with a bit of training.

Other than a reliable Internet connection, the most important thing a student needs is an understanding of the navigation in the WebCT class.
