Campus Master Plan >
Vaughn College is embracing its future with a multimillion-dollar campus renovation designed to better meet the needs of its growing, diverse and dedicated student population. Work began in December 2011 with redesigned classrooms, simulator laboratory and administrative area on the west end of the campus, part of the College's $26-million soundproofing project. It will continue with the construction of a new library that nearly triples the size of the existing facility.
When the soundproofing project is completed, the College will feature a new roof, windows and facade as well as a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. See a rendering above.
The new library, scheduled to open in 2013, will house the services of a traditional library combined with information technology support and the resources of the Teaching and Learning Center. At this new learning commons area, students will find the academic and technical support for all of their coursework. See a rendering below.
