Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology offers federal, state and institutional funds to help students pay for their education. More than 85 percent of our students are eligible for some type of financial aid.

Scholarships and grants are funds that do not have to be repaid.

Loan payments may be deferred while a student is in college, but are paid back with interest. Individual repayment terms are discussed at the time of application of a loan.

Work opportunities may be offered to help offset personal expenses. The first step in getting financial aid is to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application if appropriate. Applications should be filed as soon as possible since processing can take up to eight weeks.

Financial aid advisors are available to assist you in making the process as simple as possible. You may visit the financial aid office to get help with completing the forms or to develop a plan to help you pay for your college education.
