Admissions Requirements
- file a Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology Application for Admission
- provide an official copy of their high school transcript
- provide an official copy of all college transcripts (if applicable)
- provide a copy of their high school diploma or GED with scores
- provide immunizations records
- take the placement exam (if applicable)
- pass FAA Class II physical examination (flight operations applicants only)
- International students must visit the "international student" web page to learn about additional admissions requirements
Deadlines
Please note that the College accepts applications on a rolling basis, but the preferred application deadlines FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS for the fall semester is March 1. The application deadline for the spring semester is November 1.
This insures the application will be completely reviewed for all admissions programs and all available scholarships and financial aid. Any application accepted after November 1 for spring will be considered for admissions and scholarships on a space availability basis.
Advanced Placement and CLEP Credit
The College also accepts Advanced Placement (AP) and Credit by Examination, like the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). College credit can be granted for AP scores of 3 or higher.
College credit is granted for satisfactory CLEP scores achieved on exams covering material offered in similar courses at Vaughn.
Granting of college credit for satisfactory AP and CLEP scores are subject to review from the appropriate academic departments. Students seeking advanced standing credit based on these exams must submit official score reports to the office of admissions.
