Mechanical Engineering Technology - Aeronautical Option
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree

The mechanical engineering technology BS degree has been developed to afford students a solid foundation in the use of computers in math, science, engineering and the graphic arts. In addition to the educational requirement commensurate with the BS degree, students learn to become proficient in all phases of computer-aided design, 3-D graphics, animation and multimedia with applications to aeronautics. Graduates of this program will find their skills applicable to a multitude of computer- and engineering-related fields, such as construction, architecture and aeronautics in addition to graphic design and advertising. Consistent with our aim to supply students with the most up-to-date technology, a new computer lab has recently been constructed which offers the latest state-of-the-art software and hardware available. This option strives to provide an in-depth application of engineering technologies with a focus on aeronautical engineering principles. The focus is to give students skills in all aspects of aeronautical engineering technology. Full-time students can complete this degree program in eight semesters or in four years.
